You are just too sweet.

King Tut thread is my very favorite - the quilting is simply exquisite on the sawtooth quilt.Barbarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04183379448904189945noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1738660161076439950.post-53853335483933951312011-04-20T11:00:28.530+01:002011-04-20T11:00:28.530+01:00congrats to the winners! The pink thread is Gutterman - but is slightly too light on colour, so I think I am going to see whether there is a colour in the King Tut that is suitable. It needs to be a slightly darker colour. There certainly is more thread choice out there now - it used to be just Coats and Clark! (which I still like).Pippa Moss - Welsh Quiltshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12102958156763153144noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1738660161076439950.post-3765825429443598882011-04-20T07:37:04.723+01:002011-04-20T07:37:04.723+01:00Your sawtooth quilt will turn out beautiful, I lov...Your sawtooth quilt will turn out beautiful, I love the quilting patterns. A question, Pippa: is it the King Tut Thread you use for hand quilting? How do you like it? I tried it once and for me it was a pleasure to work with. I am really looking forward to watching the progress of your quilt!Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12696241343855169123noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1738660161076439950.post-21320222657344168882011-04-18T22:23:21.857+01:002011-04-18T22:23:21.857+01:00Obviously I got a lucky number re the Korean fabri...Obviously I got a lucky number re the Korean fabric :-)

You're right - that is the best part. I am dreaming about having a pile of quilts sandwiched and ready to go, and lots of time to quilt them... getting enough time is the hard part. Showing some of my early quilts in a recent talk, I was quite shocked at how much quilting I put into things about 10 years ago, but I was back at uni (part time) and making the most of the materials cost v time enjoyed equation!Susan Briscoehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12478005503421741631noreply@blogger.com
